The Scenario

From the 10th to the 12th of June, the Oval of Turin hosted the European selections of Bocuse d’Or and Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, the most important competitions in the world for cooking and pastry, in which the national selections were held in view of the Lyon world challenge. Mailander and Relazioni Digitali worked together with the customer GL Events France for the communication in Italy and abroad of the gastronomic competition founded by the father of modern French cuisine, Paul Bocuse.

The Challenge

The work was planned through press office actions, for example the organization of the launch press conference in Rome at the Associazione Stampa Estera. Mailander and RD managed the relations with the media, the accreditation process, the press room and the operators’ access, the social media live coverage, alongside with the French teamwork. The Bocuse d’Or and the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie for the first time in Italy were a media success, with about 300 journalists coming from over 20 countries and thousands of fans from all over the world. Mailander and RD’s work has embraced traditional and new media to merge integration and coordination.
