Benvenuto Brunello 2019

The Scenario

After the extraordinary success of the past edition, with the highest participation of journalists and the highest number of interactions on social media channels through the Social Wall, Benvenuto Brunello 2019 was at the beginning the edition to strengthen the global interest around the event for local producers, operators, journalists and wine experts. They evaluate and debate on 2014 harvest for Brunello di Montalcino, Riserva 2013 and Rosso 2017 and the last harvest in 2018.

The Challenge

With the support of Mailander and Relazioni Digitali, the event 2019 was perceived as a worldwide appointment: 300 national and international journalists, 20% more than the last edition, over 3.000 operators and wine lovers literarily invaded the Sant’Agostino church set by the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino. Tremendous results also on social networks thanks to a digital approach: more than 1.500 user generated contents were displayed on the Social Wall screens with #BenvenutoBrunello2019 on Twitter and Instagram. Not only wine bottles and glasses, but also marvellous views of Tuscany and of course many selfies with the main sport guest Alex Zanardi.
